My Journey
I've been fascinated by technology since childhood—from tinkering with a Commodore Amiga 1000 to programming games on TI graphing calculators, then diving into servers and networking after getting access to dial-up internet. Over 25+ years, I developed a deep understanding of how systems actually work at scale.
Gurumode LLC was born when I transitioned from an IT Manager role to lead infrastructure design and deployment for a massive greenfield project. That experience—architecting IT systems for a billion-dollar facility from the ground up—reinforced what I'd learned: real-world problems demand real-world solutions tested in production, not theory.
After completing that project, I remained active as a consultant and developer for other companies while recognizing a gap: the tools and approaches I'd built to solve infrastructure challenges could be systematized. That led to the 256 Suite—a set of production software platforms I developed to manage complex operations. Today, these platforms are actively managing my own infrastructure and solving real-world problems for select enterprise clients.
I operate Gurumode LLC as a solo founder, working with partners on both consulting and software projects. This model lets me stay focused on what matters: solving hard problems with proven approaches, not chasing growth for its own sake.
